About the Event

The Lyke Wake Walk, possibly one of the most well-known challenge hikes in the North Yorkshire Moors, traditionally consists of a complete crossing, in less that 24 hours, of the wild, wind-swept moors along the main east to west watershed between Cod Beck Reservoir near Osmotherley and Ravenscar on the Yorkshire Coast, a distance of approximately 40 miles and with an elevation gain of over 4500 ft. Join us for an unforgettable experience as we traverse this historic route, take in the beauty of the moors, make new friends and relish in the delight of completing such an epic challenge!
